EU Settlement Scheme – Time is running out!
The EU Settlement Scheme provides a status for European nationals who want to continue to live and work in the UK post Brexit. To be eligible for pre or settled status, EU & EEA citizens and their family members must be resident in the UK by 31 December 2020. They will have until the end of June 2021 for finalising their application and status.
Since Summer 2019 a small, dedicated team at Dorset Race Equality Council and Citizens Advice Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole have been working to support EU & EEA Nationals throughout BCP and Dorset to apply for new immigration status under the EU Settlement Scheme, but funding for free help and advice ends in March.
